And to whom it may concern: That Honeychild Coleman track is available as a FREE MP3 (if you have a MySpace account).

It's on Dejligt's MySpace page... BAM!

Also, Rob Fields of the black-rock blog Bold as Love has a 7-minute video interview with Maya Azucena.

Follow this link to watch.

I saw Maya Azucena perform @ The Blue Note here in NYC, about a year ago. Good show! She later starred in a short film of mine - one that still lives on my firewire hard drive (I haven't edited it, even though it's been over a year since we shot it! Mea culpa)

I like that Santogold remix!

Bklyn6: That "oh-woh-uh-oh" is the hookiest hook that ever hooked!

I am getting Esperanza's album today.

Kellybelle: That young lady's going places. Glad you liked.

I bought Santogold's album at Amazon.com when you posted about it a few months ago. Thing is, I usually listen to my folders/playlists in shuffle mode. Guess my player doesn't do a good job of shuffling, because I didn't realize this remix was on the the album, or I simply didn't recognize it. :-/

Then again, I love "Creator" so much that I sometimes skip everything else.

Holla!

'Dejligt' means 'lovely' in Danish, just for the record, and is pronounced 'dye-leet'

I'm late to this thread - behind on my Google Reader :).

I was wondering when I'd see Maya Azucena show up on here. I've been lurking for a while and she's seemed your style based on other stuff you've posted. I've almost emailed you about her a few times. ANYWAY, she's my girl and "Set You Free" has been one of my favorites for years (I walked down the isle to her performing it live at my wedding). I am so glad she's finally released it and it's getting the props it deserves!

Thanks for listing my cover of DEJLIGT's "Town"! I recorded with the wonderful Tony Maimone at Studio G in Brooklyn and flipped it with electric dulcimer - enjoy;) Honeychild Coleman
